I hosted my wedding back in May of this year, and it was the absolute perfect day! I worked with Kriss, one of the wedding planners, for about 8 months and she was a huge help with prepping, planning and going over wedding day details and events. My husband and I were one of the first couples to book the venue post Hurricane Helene, before any of the recovery work had started on the property. We trusted Jeanne when said she would have everything ready to go for wedding day. She was absolutly true to her word and I watched the property flourish and come back to life over the next year(after booking the venue). We had around 140 people and the venue, the decor, the staff and the accomodations were just what we wanted. It was also very helpful that they have connections and great relationships with different vendors(including catering, photogropahy, DJ, baretending, florals, decor) and that made the prep process smooth and hastle free. I had the pleassure of riding down in a horse and carriage to the ceremony site, and that was the absolute cherry on top to one of the best days of my life. As a wedding photographer, I've photographed at a lot of venues, and Hidden River Events is truly one of those places that makes my job easy. Every part of the property is thoughtfully designed, with beautiful natural light, stunning gardens, river views, and countless photo opportunities throughout the day. No matter where you turn, there's another gorgeous backdrop. Beyond the property itself, the team is incredible to work with. They're organized, welcoming, and genuinely care about creating an amazing experience for their couples and vendors. The day always feels calm, well-paced, and intentional, which allows everyone to do their best work. We could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding. With more than 500 guests attending, planning such a large event felt overwhelming at times, but Jeanne made the entire process so much easier. She was incredibly accommodating, professional, and supportive from start to finish. No matter how many questions I had, she was always there to help and guide me through every detail. Jeanne truly helped me bring my dream wedding to life while staying within an affordable budget, which meant so much to us. Her experience, organization, and genuine care gave me confidence throughout the planning process and allowed me to enjoy the journey instead of stressing over it. As a wedding photographer, Hidden River Events is such a beautiful venue to photograph. The mountain views, riverfront setting, flower gardens, and open outdoor spaces create incredible backdrops throughout the entire day. Every corner of the property feels thoughtfully designed and full of natural beauty. It's a wonderful venue for couples who want a relaxed, scenic celebration surrounded by nature. I had the pleasure of officiating a wedding at Hidden River Events This past weekend on Sunday May 17th and this venue is phenomenal! So much room for activities! A huge tent area for dining, dancing, horse and carriage, outdoor seating, and it was almost like a fairy tale! I would be honored to officiate a wedding at this venue anytime.
